Instructions

  1. 1

Rinse the fresh green seaweed, drain it thoroughly in a sieve, and finely chop it.

  2. 2

Soak the yellow soybeans in water for about 5 hours, add 1/2 cup of water, boil for about 10 minutes, drain, and blend finely.

  3. 3

Finely chop the green onion and slice the red chili pepper diagonally.

  4. 4

Combine the flour with the seaweed and soybean mixture from steps 1 and 2, then add 20 g of water to make a batter.

  5. 5

Coat a pan with brown rice oil, spoon in the batter, and cook into round pancakes about 8 cm in diameter, garnishing the tops with the sliced red chili pepper as they cook.

  6. 6

Mix the soy sauce, green onion, vinegar, and sesame seeds to make a tangy soy dipping sauce and serve it with the seaweed and soybean pancakes.
